My long-term career goal is to be a surgeon-scientist and the AASF research award has provided me with a wonderful opportunity for which I am grateful.
I will spend the next two years in a vascular biology lab, investigating the mechanisms responsible for intimal hyperplasia.
Like all investigators I hope this work can have a positive contribution to our patients.
